Custom built farmhouse style bench over 4 feet long topped with reclaimed cedar from a ranch near Deer Lake, WA. Thick rustic cedar planks formerly used as property fencing are rich with age and character over years of exposure to weather in the Northwest. A traditional slatted farmhouse style is used for the top of the bench to dispaly a variety of patinas across the various cedar boards.
Bench is sturdy with extra reinforcing under each board and solid legs are built from structural beam cutoffs reclaimed from the same ranch. Base is given a hand rubbed painted and stained finish in a dark weathered gray highlighting some of the deep rustic tones showcased in the bench top. Thoroughly sealed to preserved the natural top and finished base and to ensure easy cleaning and wipedown.
