Metal Flower on Barnwood
This large mixed media art piece utilizes the best of salvage metal with reclaimed rustic wood. Barn wood planks and trim from a ranch in Stevens county, WA have been custom cut and assembled to frame this large metal flower. With an original antique brass finish and a further painting in Farmhouse White this rustic piece seems to “pop” off its old wood background and further draws attention to the weathered wood grain.
All wooden boards were lightly sanded and cleaned then coated with clear poly acrylic to presserve their natural rustic patiina. It is hung with two heavy duty D-ring hooks and measures 31” tall and 27” across.
