CUSTOM ORDERS AND SPECIAL REQUESTS

With a focus on providing unique and original pieces for a more personalized sytle O&E DESIGNS offers 2 different customized options: Custom Builds and Tailored Restorations.

With the CUSTOM BUILDS option O&E will work with you to design a specific piece from the ground up.  This is the best choice for someone needing exact dimensions for shelving, mantels, headboards, tables and benches, or when wanting to build a particular piece incorporating architectural salvage or a specific style of reclaimed wood and industrial elements.  Customized stains, paints and finished coats can be requested to fit a desired look or to render it suitable for indoor or outdoor usage.

TAILORED RESTORATIONS can be requested for existing pieces of furniture or home decor items (such as a set of frames for a gallery wall or adding a farmhouse style finish to serving ware).  Rather than purchasing brand new furniture, quotes can be reqested to refinish a particular piece that you may love the shape and style of from a particular era but envision with a more modern, rustic or artistic makeover.  Painted finishes can be glazed, distressed or waxed for an antique finish or simply  cleaned and repaired then given a new custom color makeover to suit a recent home renovation.  

O&E DESIGNS pride themselves on incorporating earth friendly and green options for finishing products whenever possible.  All paints chosen are of a low VOC content and many have won awards or recognition for their green initiatives.  Upon request, non-toxic wood dyes can be used instead of traditional wood stains and more environmentally friendly water based finishes for top coats.
